Mandriva was my favorite daily driver Linux distribution, alongside Ubuntu. It was, probably the best looking Linux distro ever existed. I adore the beauty of the Mandriva artwork.  Recently I found a Mandriva One 2010 iso in my Linux iso collection, and quickly tempted to rock it on VirtualBox. I still amazed by the beauty, so I extract the wallpapers and use it on my desktop to recall my sweet memories with this very nice distribution. I believe there are ex-Mandriva users just like me, so I share the beautiful wallpapers from Mandriva 2010 to beautify your current Linux desktop. In many major desktop Linux distributions, I really love to the Mandriva Linux default theme, both of GNOME or KDE. The theme was called ia-ora , which consist of 5 variants : Ia Ora Blue, Ia Ora Free, Ia Ora One and Ia Ora Orange. The Ia Ora theme was look so cute, fresh and totally-eyecandy. Because of that reason, I was finished converted the Ia Ora RPM package into Debian / Ubuntu package using Alien and now I can enjoy the Ia Ora theme at my Ubuntu's GNOME desktop. Ini sama sekali bukan iklan, atau latah. Isu antara performance dan appearance dalam komputasi selalu hangat dan selalu ada dua tipe user yang secara ekstrem memilih pendekatan keduanya, kecepatan atau responsivitas sistem dan keindahan interface grafis (desktop) sistem. Saya sendiri, sebenarnya perfeksionis. Andai bisa, saya sangat mengingikan sebuah sistem dengan interface grafis seindah mungkin dengan kinerja sistem yang cepat dan responsif. Sebenarnya keduanya dapat dicapai, cuma tentu saja dengan upgrade hardware yang lumayan. Berhubung hardware yang saya punya pas-pasan, saya mencoba menyeimbangkan keduanya.
