Calamares Installer: EFI System Partition Configured Incorrectly

Thanks to Ubuntu, Linux desktop now have Calamares Installer. Despite there is no official statement, I am quite sure that Calamares Installer is built, deeply inspired by Ubuntu's Ubiquity Installer.  This modern, simplified, distro-agnostic Linux installer has user interface and experience that is very similar to Ubiquity Installer. Now, many modern Linux distros, including Debian Live, come with Calamares installer. Even Fedora is now considering to replace their own Anaconda installer with Calamares. As a Linux enthusiast, I am really really happy with the born of Calamares. It is undoubtedly the easiest, robust Linux installer we can expect. Many thanks to the developer. Unfortunately, I met an error message when installing Linux with Calamares. There is an error message: " EFI System Partition Configured Incorrectly " when I choose manual partitioning. I was sure that I have did everything right. I set an FAT32 partition as /boot/efi, with proper size, but Calamares...

Wifi / WLAN Connection Trouble in Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet

Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet is great. I found this more stable and slightly more fast than previous version, especially in Ubuntu MATE edition. But sadly, there is one trouble and I guess this one is a bug issue in Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet. The problem is the Wifi (WLAN) connection in Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet is very poor and always got weak signal even if my laptop is near the wifi router. The connection also always disconnected periodically. I've tried Ubuntu desktop, Lubuntu, Xubuntu dan Ubuntu MATE and the result is same. Later, I've also tried Ubuntu MATE 15.10 alpha, and the bug still presents. Hope in the upcoming final releases, the Ubuntu team could fix this bug.

Problem Solved : pa_stream_writable_size() failed: Connection terminated

GNOME Alsamixer as the replacement of Volume Control applet After uninstallation of pulseaudio, Volume Control disappeared The error message In Ubuntu – particularly in Ubuntu 10.04, there is one bug about sound. It happened in some users, especially in users who used old machines with old chipset and old soundcard. The bug is, when we play musics or videos using media player (Smplayer, Clementine, Audacious etc), in the middle of playing, the sound server will be suddenly stopped. Even, this bug caused Mplayer crashed and stopped suddenly. The error message of the bug is written like this : pa_stream_writable_size() failed: Connection terminated. I've googled for this problem, but I got no clear solutions and I finally almost gave it up. But then, suddenly I was wondering about Ubuntu system and since Ubuntu 10.04 there was some changes in system, especially in pulseaudio and sound system. In previous versions, there was a volume control as an independent applet on the...

A Bug Found in Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty

Zoom In the Screenshot I already install Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty on my PC, and I founded a (non critical) bug. Kubuntu 9.04 that using KDE 4.2.2 desktop is a wonderful and elegance distro. I really enjoy to explore the desktop and the whole applications inside Kubuntu. I always enjoy explore Kubuntu until I got a little and non critical bug. When I go to the Dolphin file manager and I want to look at /root disk usage properties, the Dolphin file manager will be error. I try to look the /root disk usage properties by right-click at /root directory, and choose properties. Its not a big trouble but its feels uncomfort to me because I want to add some other optional applications such as image editors, multimedia, games and the others. Because of this bug, I use shell disk usage monitor by konsole x terminal : alwan@alwan-desktop :~$ df -h I will be so happy if the great KDEs development team would fix this bug in the next KDE 4 releases. Thank you ...

Bug Pada Amarok2 : Berharap Perbaikan Terus Dilakukan
