Di sela-sela waktu luang, saya—didasari hobi—mereka-reka tentang beberapa artwork untuk desktop BlankOn Linux dalam bentuk wallpaper. Kenapa BlankOn? Padahal, saya sendiri pemakai Ubuntu. Tentu saja karena saya sangat bangga dengan komunitas Ubuntu Indonesia yang dengan sukarela berlelah-lelah membangun sebuah distribusi Linux dengan material-material Ubuntu, demi memajukan Free Open Source Software di negeri tercinta ini.

Semua artwork yang saya buat ini, hanya potong tempel dan poles dari artwork-artwork desktop Linux yang ada di internet.

Secara khusus saya juga menegaskan, bahwa beberapa artwork yang saya buat, memakai konsep warna bendera merah-putih Indonesia dengan beberapa modifikasi gradiasi dan penempelan logo BlankOn Linux. Tak ada secuilpun niat—dalam tendensi hukum—untuk melakukan modifikasi Sang Saka Merah Putih. Ini semua justru salahsatu wujud kebanggaan saya sebagai anak bangsa Indonesia, dan karena dorongan jiwa saya untuk ikut mendukung perkembangan free open source software di Indonesia, dalam rangka proses pembangunan bangsa yang lebih luas. Howto Connect To Windows Share Network (Connect To Server) Easily in PCManFM

In Nautilus 3.4, Nemo, or Caja, there is a very useful menu called "Connect to Server". This menu allow us to connect to a Windows Share network via Samba. If you are using another desktop environment such as LXDE, there aren't such menu, and we need to install third party tool called Gigolo . But apparently, PCManFM (the default file manager of LXDE) already has such function. We could connect to a Windows Share network in PCManFM easily. Here are the simple steps : 1. Open PCManFM and go to adress bar, and type this command : smb://username@server/folder example : smb://staff@192.168.1.69/document then press Enter 2. Once you will be asked to input the Windows Share Network password (if exists), select Remember Forever option. 3. You are connected to Windows Share Network ;)
